Sportsbook API Providers, Ranked for Operators (2026)
Seven sportsbook API providers, ranked on what decides a sportsbook API integration in practice: how much you can offer, how live holds up, and how much work lands on your team. Every figure is dated and comes from the vendor's own site.
- Coverage and live depth
- Integration options (feed, API, frame, turnkey)
- Trading and risk support
- Transparency of published facts
- Time to launch
-
Sportradar9.3/10
The reference odds API. The Unified Odds Feed carries pre-match, live, outrights and settlement in one integration, and Betting Services quotes about 1 million matches a year across 70+ sports (site, October 2026). You can stop at the feed or take the full platform with managed trading. Pricing is unpublished and the sales cycle is long.
-
Kambi9.0/10
Network-traded prices from 70+ operators' bets, with 2.5m+ events and 700,000+ live events traded a year (site, October 2026). Odds Feed+ delivers prices through a single API; the turnkey product adds front end, trading and PAM. Built for established brands rather than start-ups.
-
Altenar8.6/10
The most flexible fit for an existing casino: flexible APIs plus a widget front end that plugs into any PAM, 24/7 trading on Altenar's side, and a white-label route 'in weeks' (site, October 2026). It loses marks for publishing no event or sport counts.
-
Betby8.5/10
Short stated time to go live: hosted frame integration 'within days of signing', 210,000+ events a month, 125+ sports, 3,000+ markets (site, October 2026). Fully managed risk and trading. Less of an API than a hosted product, so control over UI and pricing is limited.
-
Digitain8.2/10
A dedicated Sportsbook API with a very large stated live calendar, 180,000+ live events a month on its API page, plus 100+ sports and an in-house trading team (site, October 2026). Other Digitain pages quote 75,000+ or 100,000+, so ask for a dated coverage report.
-
BetConstruct Sportsbook8.0/10
The only vendor here with public starting prices: sportsbook from EUR 19.9K, odds feed from EUR 5K, esports from EUR 10K (products page, October 2026). 90,000+ live matches and around 1,000 traders behind the feed. Add-ons such as scouting data and risk services add up fast.
-
Nocturn Sport7.1/10
A new vendor pricing every market with its own models, with a clean versioned feed (snapshot, then deltas about every 10 seconds) and idempotent bet placement (site, October 2026). Pre-match only on traditional sports, with in-play in development, and much smaller coverage than the names above.
How to read this ranking
The mark next to each name is for this page only: how good the vendor is as a sportsbook API provider for an operator choosing today. It is not the overall score on each review. Positions are not sold. Our methodology explains the scoring.
Four ways to buy a sportsbook
Vendors in this list sell very different things under the same label:
- Odds feed only. You get prices and settlement. You build the engine, bet slip and risk. Sportradar’s Unified Odds Feed, Kambi Odds Feed+, BetConstruct’s Odds Feed.
- Engine via API. The vendor runs the book; your front end calls it. Digitain’s Sportsbook API, Nocturn Sport’s API.
- Hosted front end. A frame or widgets in your site. Betby, Altenar widgets.
- Turnkey or white label. Everything, under your brand. Kambi, Altenar, Digitain, BetConstruct, Nocturn Sport.
Decide which one you want before you compare vendors. Comparing a raw feed price with a managed frame price is meaningless.
Sportsbook API integration checklist
Before signing, get written answers to these. They catch most bad surprises.
- Coverage sheet by league. ‘X events a month’ does not tell you if your players’ leagues are live or pre-match only.
- Settlement source. Same feed as odds, or separate? Who fixes a wrong result?
- Feed mechanics. Push or pull? How are suspensions sent? What happens after your system restarts?
- Bet placement safety. Is there an idempotency key so a network retry can’t place a bet twice?
- Wallet model. Seamless wallet with debit and credit callbacks, or a transfer wallet? Who holds the balance during a bet?
- Limits. Who sets max stake and max payout per player, and how fast can you change them?
- Commercials. Fixed fee, revenue share, or both? What happens in a month when the book loses?
More detail is in our guide to choosing a sportsbook provider and the casino API integration checklist.
Scenarios
A 40-brand group replacing a legacy book. Sportradar or Kambi. The group has traders, a PAM and lawyers; it needs depth and official data more than speed.
A crypto casino with three staff. Betby. Frame in days, managed risk, strong esports.
A mid-size casino with its own PAM. Altenar. Widgets inside your own pages, trading on Altenar’s side.
A sports-first operator watching every euro. BetConstruct. Price list on the site, buy only the modules you need.
A small casino with a pre-match audience that wants control of its margin. Nocturn Sport can work, as long as nobody expects live football.
What the marks do not capture
A ranking flattens trade-offs. Two of them deserve a sentence each. First, control versus effort: the vendors that do the most for you (Betby, Kambi turnkey) also leave you the least room to price or design differently. Second, price visibility: BetConstruct is the only one that publishes numbers, which earns transparency points but does not make it cheaper once add-ons are counted. If your team has traders and engineers, mentally move the raw-feed vendors up. If it has neither, move the managed ones up.
Why this order
Sportradar and Kambi lead on depth and live quality. Altenar edges Betby because it serves more set-ups (module, turnkey, white label). Betby outscores Digitain and BetConstruct on speed and clear figures. Digitain sits above BetConstruct for its larger live calendar, despite inconsistent numbers. Nocturn Sport is seventh: careful in-house pricing and good feed design, but no in-play on traditional sports and smaller coverage.

Questions buyers ask
What is a sportsbook API?
It is the interface that gives your platform odds, markets and settlement, and often bet placement too. Some vendors sell only the odds feed; others sell a full engine you call through an API, or a hosted front end.
How long does a sportsbook API integration take?
From days for a hosted frame (Betby quotes 'within days of signing') to weeks for a platform (Sportradar quotes 'weeks'). A raw feed into your own engine takes as long as your team needs to build the engine.
Which sportsbook API providers publish prices?
Of the seven here, only BetConstruct publishes starting prices on its site (October 2026). All the others quote on request.
Do I need managed trading?
If nobody on your team has traded sports, yes. Betby, Altenar and Kambi run trading for you. Sportradar offers it as a service. A raw feed without trading puts all the risk on you.
Is a sportsbook API enough for esports?
For a few big titles, often yes. For a real esports product, see our esports odds API ranking.
