Nocturn Sport is new and it says so. What earns it a place on the list is how it prices and how openly it documents that.
In-house odds, published testing
Most small sportsbook vendors resell someone else’s feed. Nocturn Sport builds every price itself: goals models for football, hockey and baseball; points models for basketball, American football and rugby; ratings for tennis, MMA and esports. The site states there is no third-party price source (October 2026).
It also publishes how the models were checked. Football: 10,783 games to learn, 1,973 later games to test. Basketball: 8,665 and 1,712. Both beat a naive base-rate forecast on log-loss. Few vendors at any size show that much.
The Nocturn Sport odds API
The feed has five levels: sports, tournaments, events, markets, outcomes. IDs stay stable across versions, so mapping is done once. On first connection you get a full snapshot. After that your system polls with its last version, about every 10 seconds, and receives only changes. After a restart it asks for changes since its stored version or reloads the snapshot.
The sportsbook API adds bet placement for singles and accumulators, with a request ID on every call so a retry never creates a duplicate bet. Price, stake, payout and selection limits are checked at placement.
What it does not offer: a push or WebSocket feed, and live prices on traditional sports.
Esports, carefully
League of Legends is the deepest offer, with 40+ competitions tracked. CS2 covers the main international events; Dota 2 the leading tournaments, priced more cautiously. Live betting exists only between maps on LoL and Dota 2: the market reopens once the finished map is confirmed and closes if that confirmation gets stale. Esports stake limits start lower than football’s. Valorant was switched off because its model did not test well, and the site says it would rather sell nothing than bad prices.
Back office in practice
From the back office, an operator can suspend an event, override a price, settle a result and watch liability per event and market (site, October 2026). Limits include minimum and maximum odds, maximum stake, maximum payout, maximum selections per ticket and closing time. Suspensions appear in the next feed delta. For a small team, that is enough control to run a cautious book without a trader on duty all night.
Who it fits
A small casino with a pre-match football and basketball audience, wanting a branded sportsbook tab and full control of margin and limits: reasonable fit.
A book where 60% of turnover is in-play football: not yet. Look at Betby or the larger names in the sportsbook API providers ranking.
